The mission of the Pittsylvania County Community Action is to
increase awareness about poverty and to promote comprehensive
approaches to eliminate conditions that cause poverty by:

families, communities

of the poor

reforms

promoting innovating
and creative strategies

partnership with community based
organizations

mobilizing all
public and private resources

community participation and leadership development

opportunities and political, economic and social justice
And through these efforts improving the quality of life in
communities throughout our service area.
