employment services
WIA (Workforce Investment Act)
The WIA provides the framework for a unique national workforce
preparation and employment system designed to meet both the needs of
the nation's businesses and the need of job seekers and those who
want to future their careers.
The Adult and Dislocated program is designed to help its clients
gain job placement. With the use of the client's individual training
accounts, our case managers will help determine which training
program and training providers fit their needs.
The One-Stop system is the basic delivery system for services to
Adult and Dislocated Workers. The One Stop provides certain services
to all individuals 18 and older. Citizens can explore work
preparation and career development services, and access a range of
employment, training, and educational services through different
levels of services to include: Core, Intensive, Training, and
Employer services.
